Abstract
UTnet is the name attributed to the assembled media, communication devices,
and services that implement the
institutional inter-networking infrastructure at UT Austin. Serving over
40,000 end systems, its architecture is representative
of many of today's large enterprise inter-networks. This talk will examine
UTnet's organization and performance from
the perspective of the various design considerations/constraints that have
influenced its development.
