Dr. Kyungtae (KT) Han
Dr. Kyungtae Han earned his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering Department from the University of Texas at Austin in 2006. After he earned PhD, he worked at Intel Labs for 9 years and delivered energy-efficient architecture and solutions. He achieved 20-times power reduction in mobile platforms, won the Intel Achievement Award (Intel's highest technical award) and the best paper award at ICCAD 2015. He published 16 papers and a book, and hold 7 patents. Dr. Han established $1.2M academia research program with four universities. He is currently IEEE senior member and leads Embedded Systems technology in Dragonfly technology as a Director. Dr. Han’s research interests are embedded systems, low power VLSI design, electronic design automation, and assistive computing.
