Chao Jia
I graduated in May 2014 with a Ph.D. degree, and
I'm working for Qualcomm Research in San Diego, CA USA.
|
I earned my Ph.D. in
Electrical and Computer Engineering
at The University of Texas at Austin.
At UT Austin, I was a member of
Center for Perceptual Systems
and Wireless Networking and communications Group.
My supervisor is Prof. Brian L. Evans .
I received my B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering Department at Tsinghua University, China,
in July 2009, and then enrolled at UT Austin in fall 2009 for graduate ECE studies.
Research Overview
Generally I'm interested in computer vision and machine learning. My graduate research mainly focuses on the area of computational photography, including video acquisition, motion deblurring and superresolution on mobile phone cameras. Besides, I'm also interested in sparse coding for object recognition and image restoration.
