In the undergraduate curriculum for the 1998-2000 and 2000-2002 catalogs, this course is an elective in three technical areas:

• Communications and Control Engineering
• Computer Engineering (Group 1)
• Telecommunications and Signal Processing (Group 1)

Under the 1998-2000 and 2000-2002 catalogs, you may opt to use this course as a replacement for EE321K Electrical Engineering Laboratory I instead of using this course as a technical area elective. However, you may not use it as both a replacement of EE321K and a technical area elective. Please contact the ECE Undergraduate Office for more details.

When Prof. Evans introduced this course in Fall of 1997, the course number was EE379K Topic 17. Since Fall 1999, it has had a permanent number of EE 345S.
