This course was introduced in Fall 1997 by Prof. Evans.
The course has been offered several times to a total of
707 students (of which 98 are/were graduate students):

Prof. Evans has taught each of the above sections except for Fall 2002,
which was taught by Dr. K. Clint Slatton.
Dr. Slatton is currently an ECE faculty member at the University of
Florida in Gainesville.

- Comment from a Fall 1999 student after the student
had been working in industry for eight weeks: "keep that real-time
DSP lab as good as it was when I took it. I have to say, that lab
was the best class I took at UT. It is close enough to the cutting
