Abstract

Telecommunications is a fast changing dynamic environment ideally suited to to individuals who like to look to the next frontier. This seminar will explore the history, present and future technology used in the Telecom and Internet industry. Discussion will focus on the future of Optical communications and the rapid advancement that make up the networks of today and tomorrow.

Biography

Roy Feldt is a 19 year Telecom professional with MCI-WorldCom. He is the head of the Network Implementation organization responsible for the network deployment in the Eastern half of the US. Roy also heads the Transport Disaster Recovery organization. As part of his presentation Roy will be discussing the WorldCom recovery efforts at the World Trade Center in NY.
